The 57 Sport is a competition tested high performance line of planetary gearboxes from AndyMark and BaneBots. The 57 Sport features numerous improvements over previous planetary gearboxes used on FIRST Robotics Competition robots.
The cold formed steel gears inside this gearbox are a 0.7 Module tooth profile which is 40% larger than the vast majority of planetary gearbox gears previously used on competition robots. The gears are larger, but the housing's size has been optimized to reduce any unnecessary volume. This means you get more reliability without sacrificing precious space. This housing is also one solid piece of aluminium, ensuring that there is no possibility for misalignment of the stages during assembly or during the rigors of match play. Three stage, and now optionally two stage, versions of these gearboxes also feature an "HD" stage, with gears approximately double the face width of the other stages as well as a strengthened carrier plate. These larger gears on the output stage ensure that it will handle heavy or cantilevered loads without worry. The carrier plates are made of hardened 4140 steel and interface to the output shaft with a robust hex bore. New for 2019 we are opening up the use of every available gear ratio with every available motor input meaning there are some combinations that could theoretically exceed the gearboxes design characteristics. As such the blanket warranty we offered on these gearboxes in the past will be discontinued for future purchases. Rest assured that AndyMark still stands behind our product 100% and if you feel that there is a problem with your gearbox or any of our products please contact us and we will make it right. To help you decide which gearboxes to use for your application please reference the below table which includes the maximum torque that the gearbox is designed to take before it will fail. A free packet of red tacky grease (am-2768) is included with every gearbox purchased. This grease must be used to coat every internal surface of the gearbox before use. The 57 Sport includes mounting hardware for any 500 or 700 series motor including the AndyMark RedLine, the VexPro 775pro, the AndyMark RS775-5, the BaneBots RS775, the BaneBots RS550, and the AndyMark NeveRest. To install one of these motors, first remove any installed pinion from the motor and press on the included pinion gear using an arbor press or bench vice. This press fit ensures a solid mechanical connection between the pinion gear and the motor. This pinion assembly is not susceptible to vibration and never needs to be checked once installed. All ratios of Blue Sport Gearboxes use a 4:1 input stage, with the same tooth count pinion, so motors and gearboxes can be switched out with ease.
Common Physical Specifications:
This novel style of collar clamp is split into two pieces so that it can be attached without removing any shafts. The bore is a 1/2" hex. The flats on the perimeter allow for the collar clamp to be held in position or turned for better assembly control. This clamp has been designed and fabricated by BaneBots, and proudly sold through AndyMark. Specifications:
Plastic spacers are included with this clamp, positioned between the two halves. These are to be removed before usage.
Whether you have shafts that are too short or shafts of different types, this coupling will solve every component connection issue you've had! Need to combine multiple hex shafts, multiple 1/2-inch keyed shafts, or convert between hex and keyed? This coupling solves all at a better price than anyone else can offer!
Shaft Compatability
This coupling has geometry to capture 0.50-inch hex shafts with an inside hex of 0.51 to 0.52 inches as well as 0.5 inch keyed shafts with a 1/8th inch keyway with a keyway width of 0.128 inches to 0.131 inches.
20 DP gears are the most common gears used in FIRST Robotics Competition gearboxes. Want to replace one of your existing gears? Building a custom gearbox? This page is a hub for all of our standard width, symmetrical 3/8 hex and 1/2 inch hex bore 20 DP gears. Check out our other 20 DP Gear pages for Pinion Gears and Shifting Gears and other special gears like those for the Toughbox line.
These are all of our 9 mm wide 5 mm pitch HTD synchronous timing belt offerings. All of these belts are a composite of flexible rubber with a fiberglass tensile member throughout. Synchronous timing belts, also known as a toothed belt or synchronous belt, are designed to eliminate slippage and keep any number of objects rotating at a constant rate. We offer both genuine Gates brand belts as well as lower-cost generic brand belts.
Parts are organized by the following scheme: (Tooth Count - Trade Number - AndyMark part number)

BLUE Cordura nylon bumper material. Each piece is 161 x 19.5 inches, enough to cover the entire perimeter of your FRC robot. The material is heavy-duty nylon cloth, much like the material used on backpacks. Additional Information:
We also have stick-on numbers available (not included with material).
This updated version of the AndyMark 775 RedLine Motor is an even faster and more powerful version of this popular 775-class motor platform. With a power rating of up to 382W, this motor is capable of delivering even more immense power in the same small lightweight package over the previous version. This ball-bearing supported, air cooled motor is best used in high-speed applications where the motor will not be stalled for long periods such as shooters, conveyors, and intake mechanisms. With sufficient care and attention to your application's traction limit, this motor can be effective in FRC drive applications as well.
Product Usage:
Motors need air flow to keep cool. A hot motor won't last nearly as long, or deliver the power it once did new. To keep a RedLine cool and in great shape, use a 775 Vent Plate Spacer, am-3650 when mounting to a custom gearbox. All of our gearboxes that use this motor have vent plate spacers included with your purchase or include sufficient venting machined in.

Have you lost OpenMesh Radio power during a match because the barrel came unplugged? You can keep that from happening ever again by using this Power Over Ethernet (POE) injector. This injector inserts POE power to a CAT5 Ethernet data cable on the unused Ethernet pins 4,5(+) and 7,8(-) allowing you to stop the worry about the barrel connector failures.
The barrel connector will still need to be used but it can move to a more secure location that can be wrapped with electrical tape to keep it in place better than attempting to tape it to the back of the OpenMesh Radio.
Plug in the RJ-45 of this unit to your roboRIO, plug the same 12V barrel connector from your Voltage Regulator Module (VRM) into the power port, securely tape it in place with electrical tape (better than awkwardly to the back to the OpenMesh Radio), and run an Ethernet cable from the female port to the Ethernet port closes to the power input on your OpenMesh Radio.
