Studica Robotics offers a wide selection of wheels to choose from. The Mecanum wheel is made up of 9 rollers set at a 45-degree angle to the axis of rotation. The Omni wheel is made up of 18 small rubber rollers set perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The Drive wheel is a simple wheel that provides good traction on carpet and tile flooring because of Polyurethane material. You'll also find All-Terrain tires, hex shaft hubs, servo hubs, and shock absorbers. Plus, as we will discuss below Studica Robotics offers flex wheels that can be modified so your robot can intake objects better.
Modifying Flex Wheels for Better Intake
There are many occasions where a simple flex wheel won't cut it anymore especially when there are multiple-sized objects to intake for a robot. Taking a Studica Robotics flex wheel, it is possible to modify the wheel to intake objects better. If you cut off the top edges of the wheel, it allows the wheel to become star-shaped. After the wheel has been cut it will flex even more onto the objects allowing for easier intaking of different sized elements. Choose your flex wheels! They are available in 35A, 40A, 50A, and 60A Durometers.

Rack & Pinion Set
The Rack & Pinion Set includes 1 rack, 1 pinion, and 2 glides. The rack and glides are made of POM plastic that provides stiffness, low resistance & excellent dimensional stability. This set can be mounted onto a U-Channel and axel.
U-Channels & T-Slot Extrusions
U-Channels are made of aluminum & offer a repeating pattern for easy fastening. They offer a variety of holes to connect components together. Extrusions do not have patterned holes but can be connected to components anywhere with a T-Slot Nut.
